Objective Appointed as a supplier to Australian Federal Government for Cloud Services

Objective Corporation (ASX:OCL) today announced that Objective Connect, Objective uCreate and Objective uEngage have been appointed to the Australian Government Information Management Office’s (AGIMO’s) inaugural Data Centre as a Service (DCaaS) Multi Use List (MUL).

Tony Walls, CEO of Objective Corporation said, “Objective’s inclusion on the AGIMO Data Centre Multi Use list highlights our proven ability to deliver products that meet the specific requirements of Australian government organisations.

“We are pleased to be part of the list which it makes it easy for Australian government departments to procure Objective’s products developed in Australia, including Objective Connect, Objective uCreate and Objective uEngage.” 

Following an extensive evaluation process, Objective was selected as one of 35 leading providers to supply Cloud and SaaS products. The DCaaS MUL is part of the Australian Government Data Centre Strategy 2010 – 2025.

On the announcement of the DCaaS MUL, First Assistant Secretary John Sheridan said, “This presents an opportunity for agencies to significantly simplify procurement of cloud and cloud-like services by leveraging nominated leading suppliers, with solutions built to meet the requirements of Australian government.”

Objective Connect, which launched on October 10, is a breakthrough hybrid platform enabling easy and secure information sharing between government departments, agencies, private enterprise and citizens. 

Objective uCreate and uEngage provide specialised collaborative content creation, document publishing and stakeholder consultation solutions, used by over 6,000 public sector workers and 500,000 citizens globally.
