Occam representatives will discuss strategies for success in the next decade and OTT video opportunities in two presentations at the leading service provider event

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – November 3, 2010 –

Occam Networks(NASDAQ: OCNW) today announced that Russ Sharer, vice president of marketing, will deliver a keynote address on the keys to success for video service providers at the upcomingTelcoTV Conference & Expo. Occam will also address new opportunities for service providers with OTT video during an industry panel discussion at the event.

With business models in flux for wireline service providers as the industry moves to IP networks and more advanced video services, Russ will highlight new opportunities for telcos to shape their own initiatives, while facing increased competition. In order to meet the needs of the broadband world of the future, Russ will outline guidelines for successful strategies over the next decade that will pay off for the attendees of TelcoTV 2020.   

During a panel session, moderated by Colin Dixon, Senior Partner at The Diffusion Group, Occam Market Development Consultant Kris Sowolla will discuss the options available for IPTV providers in delivering OTT video. The discussion will also highlight how partnership opportunities may stimulate new revenue streams and keep content costs low.
