New features of Recovery for Photoshop software include restoring layer positioning and palette information

OfficeRecovery.com has released version 2.0 of Recovery for Photoshop data recovery software utility for repairing corrupted Adobe Photoshop files.

Much appreciated by photographers and designers, the previous version of Recovery for Photoshop has already been a lifeline to works lost in corrupted Photoshop files. The new version is even more so, adding new capabilities to get the work done better and faster.

Recovery for Photoshop is now able to repair files created with Adobe Photoshop CS5, along with the older CS4, CS3, CS2, CS, 7.x, 6.x, 5.x, 4.x and 3.x versions.

Output options for recovered data are now available. It is possible to choose between writing the recovery results to a new PSD file or to save all recovered layers into separate lossless BMP files.

The color palette (RGB or CMYK) is now recovered to its original state.

Arranging layers is a meticulous task, often requiring countless work hours to complete. The new version of Recovery for Photoshop restores properties of each layer, such as blending modes, layer name, layer transparency, layer visibility and lock flags, alpha channels of layers and also the layer positioning.
