The Official Launch of Home Income Alliance
Success comes in many forms in the home-based business industry. For Joel Acosta it was his effective use of video, primarily on YouTube.

-- Success comes in many forms in the home-based business industry. For Joel Acosta it was his effective use of video, primarily on YouTube. Being a single father, working a full time job, and his 2 beautiful kids living with him, Acosta knew he had to make the most of his marketing efforts. “YouTube was the biggest part of my success in this business,” says the native of Edmonton AB, Canada.
Due to his circumstances, Acosta questioned if success in this business was possible. His desire however was not to be underestimated. He stepped back and looked at his situation and asked himself an important question “How am I going to make this work?”
Understanding the power of video, Acosta knew this was a resource he needed to take full advantage of. “I knew my videos would be working for me 24/7, whether I’m at work, spending time with my children or sleeping. It just made sense.” In the summer of 2008, Joel began creating videos with an original look. “I didn’t want my videos to blend in with everyone else’s. I wanted to create videos that were going to stand out and really separate myself from the rest.”
Acosta’s creativity had videos featuring a variety of places, and is probably the only person to successfully tie in cartoon characters to the direct sale business. Not only that, Acosta created videos rich with content that explained the business opportunity in detail. Acosta also created videos that would effectively build relationships with his viewers and explain what opportunity seekers were going to learn when joining his organization (example: how to effectively utilize video).
With the attention he received from his videos and overall success, Dan Miller, the creator of Home Income Alliance notified Acosta regarding this new opportunity. “I’m very excited to be part of the Home Income Alliance. I know the type of person Dan Miller is and what his organization brings to the table. I’ve never seen anything like the Home Income Alliance. What this opportunity has to offer and some of the features is going to turn a lot of heads in this industry.”
