Ohio Department of Insurance Chooses Affordable Language Services

Affordable Language Services has been chosen by the Ohio Department of Insurance to serve as the department’s interpretation service.

CINCINNATI—April 27, 2010—Affordable Language Services has been chosen by the Ohio Department of Insurance to serve as the department’s interpretation service.

“We’re very excited that the Ohio Department of Insurance has chosen to place its trust in us,” said Lynn Elfers, owner.

Consumers will call the Ohio Department of Insurance and, if they need language assistance, the call will be connected to an interpreter at Affordable Language Services.

“We want to be certain that our services are accessible to as many Ohioans as possible,” said Director Mary Jo Hudson in the Department’s February 2010 press release. “We are using this language tool to ensure those consumers can ask questions about insurance and be certain they are well informed.”

Affordable Language Services provides interpretation and translation services in more than 150 languages from Spanish to American Sign Language to rarer languages like Soninke and Fulani.
