) was issued 15 claims under United States patent number 7,999,554for its Battery Voltage Translator circuitry.

O₂Micro's patented circuitry monitors cell voltage levels within a battery pack, and translates it to a ground reference to ensure accurate and consistent low voltage measurement. Applications include various cordless electrical devices such as,notebook computers, cell phones, PDAs, and power tools.
