With the colorStriker, PCE Instruments UK Ltd launched a new precision colour-measuring instrument onto the marketplace, which might be confused with a mouse at first glance. The new colorStriker is small, compact and at only 120 grams is one of the lightest colour-measurement devices on the market. This useful and contactless working device, identifies and determines almost all colours of materials and surfaces such as textiles and leather; wall colours and varnishes; lumbers; inlays and panels; tiles and synthetics.

The colour is measured by a single keystroke while the colorStriker identifies the colour value with two True Colour sensors. These sensors are characterized by their long-life cycle. They can carry out more than 1 Million precise measurements without aberration.

The colorStriker is distinguished by its high repeatability, contactless measurements and maximum mobility through wireless data transfer to a computer or a smartphone with Android operating system via Bluetooth. The software that is included enables the evaluation of the measured data and allows the user to compare the current colour measurement with previous measurements.
 
With the new colorStriker, objective colour measurements can be performed easily and quickly, and uncertainties in the choice of colours can be a thing of the past.
