Online Directory of Real Estate Photographers Announced

The newly organized Real Estate Photographers of America™ and Real Estate Photographers International™ announce their Find A Photographer Directory.

Salt Lake City, Utah—January 21, 2010—Alan Blakely, founder and director of Real Estate Photographers of America™ and Real Estate Photographers International™, today announced the launch of the combined organization’s online Find A Photographer directory. The newly created directory features listings for photographers both in the U.S. and throughout the world at www.realestatephotographers.org.

The REPA/REPI Find A Photographer directory provides real estate professionals and homeowners with a reliable source for finding qualified real estate photographers. All photographers listed in the directory have been pre-screened and pre-qualified prior to being allowed to join either organization. The directory is organized by geographic location and features direct links to each photographer’s personal email and website, as well as their areas of service.

“Real estate photography is a relatively new specialty,” explains Mr. Blakely. “The booming real estate market of past years encouraged many photographers to specialize in photography of homes for sale.” Blakely also adds that while the declining market forced many photographers out of business, many very talented photographers have weathered the storm and remain very active in the current market.

Blakely states that the goals of the Find A Photographer directory are to provide photography buyers with a simple, one-stop resource for hiring a qualified real estate photographer and to drive new business to professional photographers. “The nature of the current real estate market makes it more important than ever to showcase properties in their best possible light,” Blakely adds. “We make it easy to hire the right photographer the first time.”
