Southwest Airlines is carefully tracking a wintry storm system moving across the southcentral states and is monitoring changing conditions to modify our operational plan as necessary.

Should widespread cancelations develop, we will post that updated information here.

Southwest Airlines has 3200 flights scheduled to operate systemwide today; AirTran Airways has 410 flights scheduled to operate systemwide today.

Our main focus is on the Safety of our Customers and Employees, while making sure our flights operate safely to their destinations.

Operational planners for both Southwest and AirTran are coordinating with our Meteorologists to track the progress of the storm and evolve our Customer accommodation policies, which are already being updated at this link on southwest.com.

City-specific cancelation numbers can be calculated by visiting the websites of the individual airports. We have City Fact Sheets that provide general information about our destinations served, number of daily flights, facilities, and employment numbers.
