Southwest Airlines is monitoring a winter storm as it moves across the Great Lakes region and into the northeast. We are carefully watching where the biggest operational impacts will be and making adjustments to the operations as needed. Based on the forecast, we anticipate the greatest impacts will be felt across parts of Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Boston over the next 24 to 36 hours.

Our main focus is on the Safety of our Customers and Employees, while making sure our flights operate safely to their destinations.

Operational planners for both Southwest Airlines and AirTran Airways are working with our Meteorologists to track the progress of the storm and evolve our Customer accommodation policies which are being updated on southwest.com.
