OPTENET continues with a series of projects in Colombia with CLARO

OPTENET, the global security company that provides high-performance solutions for telecommunications service providers worldwide, continues to develop a series of projects with Claro in Colombia and Latin America. This time, Claro Colombia has selected Optenet’s technology, which they are currently using to provide Web and Mail protection to their business customers, in order to protect their network from being considered as a source of spam. For that they will be using Optenet’s Outgoing AntiSpam service.

Claro is the largest mobile operator in Colombia, and is part of America Movil, the group with the highest participation in the Latin American market. The tender for this service lasted approximately six months in which the company evaluated other well known tools in the market, such as Ironport and Fortinet. However, the company selected OPTENET service after a thorough analysis of the advantages provided by our product. The most important characteristics valued in this process included its high efficiency, high performance and scalability, ease of integration into the operator's network and granularity of reporting.
