Outsell, Inc. Welcomes Former J.D. Power President Stephen C. Goodall as Executive Vice President and Minority Investor

Mr. Goodall to Further Develop Services for Information Companies Navigating the Internet Age
Burlingame, CA, and London, UK—September 30, 2010—Outsell, Inc., the leading research and advisory firm for the information and publishing industries, today announced that Stephen C. Goodall is joining the firm as Executive Vice President. As a minority investor in the company, he will also serve on Outsell’s Board of Directors and report to the firm’s Co-founder and CEO, Anthea Stratigos.
Mr. Goodall has 30 years’ experience as an executive at J.D. Power and Associates, the global marketing information company specializing in customer satisfaction and consumer behavior. From 1996-2008, he served as President of the firm, which he positioned for sale to The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. Mr. Goodall led the rapid growth of the company through a focused strategy of new product development, brand building, talent acquisition, and infrastructure improvement, culminating in its sale. After the acquisition, he served as a special advisor to the new President of J.D. Power and to the President of the Media and Information segment at McGraw-Hill, while also assisting with new product development in the social media area.

Mr. Goodall holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He also has two bachelor’s degrees from California State University, Chico in psychology as well as in business administration (concentrating in marketing).
