RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., August 6, 2014 Overture today announced that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named the company a recipient of a 2014 Internet Telephony NFV Pioneer Award, presented by Internet Telephony magazine. Overture received its award for Ensemble OSA™, the company’s open architecture for software-defined services at the metro service edge. The Internet Telephony NFV Pioneer Award honors products that have demonstrated innovation, unique features, and noteworthy developments toward improving Network Function Virtualization.

“We are pleased that Ensemble OSA is recognized as a leading innovation that is bringing the benefits of NFV to the metro service edge,” said Prayson Pate, CTO and senior vice president, R&D, Overture. “Working together with our products that deliver Carrier Ethernet 2.0 across all access types, Overture’s Ensemble Open Service Architecture helps service providers open up new revenue opportunities through dynamic, on-demand and automated services.”
