OXID eSales Awarded European Seal of eExcellence a Second Time

Europe’s leading multimedia and IT associations reward effectiveness of international marketing and innovativeness of products/services

Leading Internet and digital media associations in Europe annually bestow companies with the European Seal of eExcellence, now for the sixth consecutive year. OXID eSales AG, one of the foremost producers of eCommerce software, has made it to the winner’s circle for the second time in as many years. The European Multimedia Forum (EMF) and national associations have recognized the continual growth of this Freiburg company which created 30 new jobs in a space of just 12 months. A total of 39 companies are being honored with the Seal of eExcellence, 11 of them are German.

„We are pleased that we are among the Seal winners this year as well – proof of the continual development of OXID eSales AG", declared Roland Fesenmayr, CEO of OXID eSales AG, about the jury’s decision. „The award provides us with the momentum to implement our marketing activities in the German as well as the international market. Our reputable OXID eShop versions and the new OXID eFire service platform for online trade put us in the right direction."

The Seal of eExcellence has been awarded by leading multimedia associations since 2002 under the direction of the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) located in Brussels. OXID eSales AG was able to win over the international jury this year as in the previous year. The jury paid particular attention to the quality of the products and technology on offer as well as to the growth and marketing strategy of each contesting company.

„The fact that our customers are not left on their own with the shop solution by providing a host of additional services, above all in shop marketing for instance, and by offering the new OXID eFire service platform, shows that we cultivate a comprehensive and, by all means, open understanding of the eCommerce market in our company philosophy," explains Roland Fesenmayr.

Their success proves the multi-premiering eCommerce specialists right. The company will be presented with the new award at the Seal Award Ceremony at CeBIT on March 4. Executive directors Roland Fesenmayr (Chairman), Eric Jankowfsky and Andrea Seeger will be available for interviews and meetings at Stand E04 in Hall 5 during the entire conference.
