P♢AC’s Louise Pharand Doren to attend Art Dubai next month

Art Dubai is the vibrant cornerstone of the region's booming contemporary art community. Last year, it welcomed over 22 000 visitors including major international museums groups and hosted galleries from 32 countries. This year's programme includes commissioned projects and performances, artists' and curators' residencies, educational workshops, the unveiling of works by the winners of the annual Abraaj Group Art Prize and the critically acclaimed Global Art Forum. 

Special events include Design Days Dubai - the only fair in Asia dedicated to product and furniture design; Sikka, the fair run by Dubai Culture and dedicated to new work by UAE-based artists as well as Galleries Nights as part of Art Week. The fair which opened with record breaking sales, is now in its 7th year. It is held at Madinat Jumeirah under the patronage of the youthful Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women’s Establishment.
