New Delhi, February 14, 2012: PBC™ – STIP, an SME in the service sector, has been recognised for its strong commitment towards sustainable development, by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development. The much awaited award function was held at ITC Maurya Sheraton on February 10, 2012.

The Chief Guest for the Ceremony- Mr. Anand Sharma, Union Minister for Commerce, Industry and Textiles, Government of India, along with ITC Chairman, Mr. Y.C Deveshwar gave away this award

Mr. Kamal Meattle, C.E.O of Paharpur Business Centre, expressed his happiness on receiving this prestigious award. He emphasized that entities needs to go beyond reputational and societal benefits of Sustainability. The award process was a rigorous two-stage assessment, including a site visit, followed by scrutiny by the Awards Jury & PBC - STIP has proved to be a worthy winner.
Highlighting the importance of responsibility in business, Mr. Meattle said that spreading green and working towards the betterment of communities is essential for long-term sustainability of one’s business.
