Panasonic Toughbook Giveaway Winner 4th Quarter 2011
Bob Johnson's Computer Stuff Inc. announces the 4th quarter grant winner for the Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 Laptop in West Mahanoy Township PA.
Smyrna, Delaware, United States., February 9, 2012 - (PressReleasePoint) - Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc. would like to congratulate Chief Shawn Tray and the West Mahanoy Township Police Department on their recent win of a Panasonic Toughbook CF-30.
Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc. ran a contest through their Facebook page Bob Johnson’s Toughbook Stuff from 10/1/2011 through 12/31/2011. This contest allowed any member of a police, fire, or EMS department to submit a brief essay explaining their need for a Panasonic Toughbook CF-30. Chief Shawn Tray told us, “Our patrol vehicles are not equipped with computers or an in car camera system. The lack of a laptop severely limits the number of registration and licenses we are able to check, and the number of criminal history's we are able to get via roadside. With not having this capability we are missing out on information that would lead to more arrests.”
Sales Manager Jodi Quick, who assisted in the judging of essays said, “West Mahanoy Township stood out. Unlike other departments that are currently making do with older equipment, West Mahanoy Township currently has no equipment. They are a very small community, which leaves them with a minimal budget to fund their small police force. We felt that providing them with a Panasonic Toughbook would significantly increase their productivity in the field which would in turn increase the safety of the local community for their residents.”
After learning the excitement the win produced at the West Mahanoy Police Department, President Bob Johnson opted to continue the contest as he felt that, “it is a great feeling to know how appreciated this Toughbook was and what a difference it will make to their department.”
Bob Johnson’s Computer Stuff, Inc.’s contest where departments can enter to win a Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is running 01/01/2012 through 03/31/2012. Police, fire, and EMS personnel simply need to write a few brief words explaining their department’s need to enter the contest.
