Playworld Middle East expands on back-to-school demand
Paperworld Middle East 2014 is set to take place next week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre at least 10% larger than the previous edition. The 4th edition of the region’s trade exhibition for the stationery, paper and office supplies industry will take place from Tuesday March 4th to Thursday March 6th.
According to organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt, the region is attracting manufacturers and suppliers from around the world interested in expanding their business reach.
“Paperworld Middle East’s success in growing into the leading trade fair in the region for paper and office products is aided to a large extent by the sterling reputation of the Paperworld brand worldwide,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “This combined with our ongoing effort to engage closely with regional stakeholders and familiarise ourselves with the intricacies of the local market has resulted in the show becoming truly representative of the regional industry.
The APRIL Group, sponsors of Paperworld Middle East and producers and manufacturers of pulp and wood-free paper will be presenting their flagship PaperOne™ range of premium quality home and office paper at the exhibition. “We have grown to become one of the top brands of paper in most key markets in Asia,” said Gus Choo, Global Head, Paper Sales.  “Paperworld Middle East gives us a great overview of our existing business for our different product lines in the wider region and it also gives us access to new clients which is why we participate here.”
Also looking forward to a successful run is co-located Playworld Middle East 2014, another Epoc Messe Frankfurt organised trade event, serving the wide world of children’s products.
Driven by the back-to-school sector and other product synergies with Paperworld Middle East, the trade exhibition for toys and kids’ products, Playworld Middle East will also take place from March 4th to 6th. Featuring toys, baby products and childrens’ sports equipment, amongst the exhibitors participating at Playworld Middle East are: Golden Wheel America, Hang Shun Toys Ltd and Zhongshan City Bobie Company Ltd.
Making its debut at Playworld Middle East this year, the Kids Retail Forum is expected to attract wide interest from the children’s products industry. Topics ranging from children’s lifestyle products through to back to school articles and children’s toys will all be highlighted. The forum is intended to serve as a platform for companies in this industry to obtain industry knowledge and insights into the business of children’s products in the MENA region.
Paperworld Middle East brings the unmatched expertise, scope and reach of the Frankfurt-based parent show to key decision makers, buyers and customers in the region. Paperworld is a global brand for the paper, stationery and office supplies sector with successful platforms in promising markets: Germany, China, Hong Kong, UAE and Russia.
