Parlec to Showcase its Innovative Technologies and Products at EASTEC, 2013

Rochester, NY, March 14, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Parlec Inc., a worldwide leader in tooling and presetting solutions, announced today that it will showcase its newest products, Evolution Angle Heads and ParleVision CNC Software featuring SpeedScan, along with it’s re-engineered Precision Modular Boring System, High Speed Tooling and Proprietary Numertap System at EASTEC Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts, May 14-16, 2013, Hall 5, Booth 5232.

Parlec will showcase the newest feature to its ParleVision CNC Software: SpeedScan. SpeedScan allows users to measure standard tools automatically without any data input, increasing efficiencies by eliminating the risk of operator error. Additionally, integrating SpeedScan into existing CNC operated systems is easy and can be done in less than 15 minutes.
 
Representatives and technical experts will be on hand to demonstrate ParleVision CNC with SpeedScan on an 1850 Parsetter TMM. The Series 1850 Parsetter TMM is manufactured at Parlec’s U.S. headquarters in Fairport, New York and boasts its proprietary ParleVision CNC Imaging System.
 
ParleVision CNC offers total automation including auto positioning, auto focusing and auto indexing. These features, along with a library of automation routines, point-and-click creation of custom automation macros, and incredible ease of use throughout the system, combine to create a system that can increase throughput of tools by up to 300 percent and ensure conformity and repeatability of the measuring and inspection process.
 
Parlec’s newest Toolholding solution, Parlec by Gerardi Evolution Angle Heads, will also be on display at EASTEC 2013.  The Evolution line features Automatic Tool Change (ATC) angle heads that offer modularity with interchangeable shanks and positioning pins. Your manufacturing operation can take advantage by using the angle heads on multiple machining centers—despite different spindle types and sizes.
 
Providing new and enhanced features that are redefining industry standards, Parlec’s reengineered Precision Modular Boring System will also be showcased at Parlec’s EASTEC presentation. The system delivers coolant directly to the cutting edge, resulting in maximized tool life and chip form. It also provides individually and easily adjusted cutting tips which allow for balanced or step cutting from .95” (24mm) to over 23” (600mm) resulting in maximum metal removal rates.
 
Additionally, Parlec will exhibit high-speed tooling solutions, including balanceable toolholders and heat shrink systems coupled with it’s proprietary Numertap system, which provides extended length tap adapters as standard product offering and the largest range of any tapping head (one head covers three of the competitor’s ranges).
