Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom., January 21, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -

Born in Scotland, Paul was encouraged in the art of music from an early age. With his Grandfather being an organist and composer, as well as an overseas examiner for Trinity College of Music in the 1920s and 30s, his Father was also a professional violinist. Paul is now the 3rd generation to have mastered his respective instrument. Over the last ten years he has vastly developed his performance technique. Working with inspirational teacher Djordje Gajic, Chamberlain has taken numerous master-classes with experts such as Owen Murray, Peter Soave and Jean-Louis Norton.

Despite a having a complex heart condition, which at points interrupted his musical studies, Chamberlain overcame these to be awarded a first class degree in classical accordion from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music. Whilst studying for a Masters in Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland he further won the acclaimed Governors Recital Prize, subsequent to a live performance broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland’s ‘Classics Unwrapped’ programme.

Chamberlain’s musical ingenuity has already taken him across the world having performed at international music festivals such as Baltica Harmonica in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Sata-Häme Soi Accordion festival in Ikaalinen, Finland. Further to these he has also performed in France, Italy, Greece, and Bahrain, as well as part of groups that include the Paragon Ensemble and the Scottish Tango Ensemble. This tour is certainly set to top these already significant achievements.
