PBI Scientist to Speak at 2014 Wildlife Conservation Expo

Polar Bears International’s chief scientist, , will be speaking about polar bear conservation at the .

Dr. Amstrup will be joining 18 other leading wildlife conservationists in San Francisco on October 11 to share stories of saving wildlife around the world.

Also speaking is Dr. Laurie Marker of Cheetah Conservation Fund. PBI and CCF partnered to lead a new dialogue on the global impact of climate change and unite humanity towards common action.  

The scientists and conservationists at the Wildlife Expo will be talking about what it’s like to spend their lives working in remote lands, surrounded by wild animals, including polar bears, cheetahs, lions, and elephants. Expo-goers will learn how they create innovative solutions and work closely with local people to create big impacts for wildlife.

The Wildlife Expo is a day to celebrate endangered species and the people who protect them.
