Pervasive Software to Present at 35th Bay Area Hadoop User Group (HUG) Monthly Meetup

AUSTIN, Texas - February 18, 2013 - Pervasive Software® Inc. (NASDAQ: PVSW), a global leader in cloud-based and on-premises data innovation, today announced that Jim Falgout, chief technologist of Pervasive Big Data and Analytics Products, will present at the 35th Bay Area Hadoop User Group (HUG) Monthly Meetup held February 20 at 6:00 p.m. PST at the Yahoo! URL's Café in Sunnyvale, California.

Falgout's presentation, "A Visual Workbench for Big Data Analytics on Hadoop," will take place from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.  He will discuss a visual workbench integrated with Apache™ Hadoop™ that enables data scientists and analysts to build and execute complex big data workflows for Hadoop with minimal training and without MapReduce knowledge. Other presenters include Mukund Madhugiri and Baljit Deot of Yahoo! and Hari Shreedharan of Cloudera.
