Vienna, May 7, 2014 – Since the start of May, Peter Wöhrer (48) has been responsible for strategic planning and innovation projects at Kapsch BusinessCom as Vice President Strategic ICT-Sales. He will play a key role in positioning the leading ICT service partner in Austria as well as internationally in Central and Eastern Europe.
Peter Wöhrer has amassed many years of experience in the ICT industry and has already held numerous management positions. He was last in charge of T-Mobile Austria’s IT management as Senior Vice President Solutions (CIO), and at an international level was a member of Deutsche Telekom’s Europe IT management. He had previously headed the Professional Services ICT division at T-Systems Austria, in which capacity he was the driving force behind the development of new services. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, he spent many years in various positions at Atos Origin Information Technology GmbH, most recently as Director Managed Services Operations. Peter Wöhrer began his professional career at Philips Austria.
