Philanthropic Firm Trivani International Acquires Equipment for Humanitarian Health Initiative
Dee Mower, President of Trivani International, the world’s first purpose-driven marketing company, is working with medical equipment sellers to acquire donated equipment and supplies for the company’s critically lauded low-cost surgery program.
Springville, UT, April 16, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- Leslie Deeanne Mower, President of Trivani International (http://www.trivani.com), the world’s first purpose-driven marketing company, is working with a broad network of medical equipment providers to acquire donated items to facilitate low-cost surgeries and medical care for people in impoverished countries. This health initiative, part of the Trivani Foundation’s global relief effort (http://www.trivani.net/index.php?option=com_conten...), gives poverty stricken residents in Asia, Africa and beyond access to doctors, immunizations and surgeries at an extremely reduced rate.
“When you visit third world countries facing extreme hardship, you see, with your own eyes, that access to even basic medical care is almost a fantasy, because of a lack of money, transportation and other hurdles,” says Dee Mower, President of Trivani International. “Through this program, we work with companies like Globus Relief (http://www.globusrelief.org) to get medical equipment and other items, sometimes costing thousands of dollars, for immunizations, medical care, and even surgeries that cost nothing or close to nothing.”
Trivani’s health initiative uses a multi-pronged approach. The company works with suppliers to donate used equipment, works with local doctors to donate time for surgeries and medical care, and works with a network of distributors to supply funds to support the charity effort. Trivani distributors across the globe sell the company’s eco-friendly, toxin-free products, and significant portion of the revenue goes to the organization’s non-profit arm, the Trivani Foundation, (http://www.trivani.net/index.php?option=com_conten...) to help the poor in Asia, Africa, Latin American, North America and other areas of the world.
Bill Andersen, a Trivani distributor in North America, says “I’m amazed at how Trivani is able to help so many of the world’s poor with this incredible program. Now that I know about the children getting immunizations, surgeries for cleft palates and treatment for other medical problems, it makes me feel great that every Trivani product I sell is doing good for the world.”
