Wakefield, Mass.,— Sept 13, 2010 —Picis, an Ingenix company, has added 29 U.S. healthcare facilities to its more than 700 clients using itsLYNX revenue management solutionsfor theemergency department (ED). These deployments were completed in the second quarter and represent an additional 1.1 million annual hospital ED patient visits automated with healthcare revenue management solutions by Picis.

installations include:

• Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), a national faith-based health organization with headquarters in Denver that operates in 19 states and includes 75 hospitals, went live with E/Point at nine of its hospitals in Kentucky, Nebraska and North Dakota.

• DeKalb Medical Center, a not-for-profit health system based in Decatur, Ga., is composed of three hospital campuses. The system went live with LYNX E/Point at two of its hospitals – DeKalb Medical Center at North Decatur and DeKalb Medical Center at North Hillandale.

• Grady Health System— Grady Health System, a not-for-profit health system based in Atlanta, is one of the largest health systems in the United States The system recently implemented E/Point at Grady Memorial Hospital, which primarily serves Decatur and Fulton counties.

• Laughlin Memorial Hospital (LMH), a private, not-for-profit acute-care hospital based in Greeneville, Tenn., serving Greene County, recently went live withLYNX E/Point.

• Mount Vernon

  Hospital, a 228-bed community-based teaching hospital in Mount Vernon, N.Y. and part of the South Shore Medical Center system went live with E/Point in June.

• Shands HealthCare, a private, multi-facility health system affiliated with the University of Florida, deployed E/Point in five facilities to help accurately capture procedure charges and calculate facility visit levels for an estimated 227,000 ED visits annually.

• Stellaris Health Network, based in Armonk, N.Y., is composed of four hospitals serving the Westchester County area. Two of its hospitals went live with E/Point in May.

• White County Medical Center (WCMC), located in Searcy, Ark., deployed Picis LYNX E/Point together withPicis ED PulseCheck™, the comprehensive emergency department information system (EDIS), for a seamless flow of information and optimized revenue capture for the emergency department.
