Pilgrim Software’s 10th Global Customer Conference Lauds ‘Success through Quality’

Tampa, FL – April 23, 2014 -- Pilgrim Software, Inc., a leading provider of cloud and on-premise enterprise quality management solutions, hosted its tenth worldwide customer conference this month.  Fusion 10: Transforming Quality for Success brought together over 100 Pilgrim customers to discuss best practices and regulatory changes, share success stories, and learn more about how Pilgrim’s integrated suite of solutions help drive quality, compliance and operational success.

Over two and a half days, the conference featured presentations on a diverse cross-section of quality and regulatory compliance topics. Pilgrim customers attended more than 20 sessions including those covering supplier quality management, audit management, regulatory reporting, and cloud computing.  The audience heard how enterprises worldwide are implementing those practices to accomplish their business objectives.

Thierry Durand, Pilgrim’s Chief Executive Officer, kicked off the conference by reflecting on his recent customer site visits and assuring the audience that Pilgrim is in tune with industry’s current quality issues. “I understand you’re focused on ensuring the quality of your products and sustaining quality management standards and practices. You also conveyed the importance of being prepared for planned and unplanned regulatory audits. Some are pursuing a strategy to leverage quality operations to stimulate revenue growth. In fact, it’s these perspectives that are guiding our transformation at Pilgrim and propelling us to help you transform quality for success.”

Fusion 10 keynote speaker, Matthew Littlefield, principal analyst for LNS Research, spotlighted the importance of adopting a Culture of Quality. “Embed quality as a centerpiece of corporate culture and as a core competency of leadership,” he said. “From there, companies will be in a strong position to transform their own quality products and services for sustainable success.”

On day two, Shawn Achor, the world’s leading expert on the connection between happiness and success and author of the international bestseller, The Happiness Advantage, addressed the conference as well. Achor stated that “happiness isn’t simply a mood, it’s a work ethic.” His talk underscored how changing one’s environment “to work for them” can drive happiness and success. Achor’s keynote set the tone for the remainder of the conference activities.

Learning sessions at Fusion 10 were tailored to appeal to quality managers, technical staff and executive-level attendees. The conference provided a comprehensive perspective on the products and services available from Pilgrim Software.  A Technology Lab and a Solution Showcase both provided hands-on product training conducted by Pilgrim’s implementation and technical support experts.  Roundtable discussions provided attendees opportunities to provide input to future product direction and engage with others in their industry segment.
