Las Vegas, NV (August 17, 2009) – The iconic Pink’s Hot Dogs is now open at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, ready to excite and delight both Las Vegas locals and tourists.

Pink’s, one of Los Angeles’ most famous eateries, will now please palettes in Las Vegas with dozens of delicious hot dogs and other culinary delights. The legendary Hollywood hotspot is bringing gourmet fast-food flair to the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip.

Approaching its 70th Anniversary, Pink’s originated in Los Angeles as a family-owned hot dog stand in 1939 and evolved into a West Coast icon. Pink’s is known as “Home of the World’s Best Chili Dog,” a title earned for the recipe specially developed by founder Betty Pink. The hot dogs are all beef with natural casing and make a mouth-watering snap when bitten. Enjoyed for years by Hollywood celebrities ranging from Robert Goulet to Snoop Dog, Pink’s hot dogs are a cultural phenomenon that can be ordered in dozens of delicious variations.

Pink’s has gained notoriety through its celebrity following, quality food and great value. The Las Vegas hot dog joint is offering more than 20 varieties of hot dogs, including classic dogs like the Chili Dog, Chicago Polish Dog and Bacon Chili Cheese Dog topped with three strips of bacon, tomatoes, and cheese. Adding to the variety of selections Pink’s also offers their Special Dogs like the Bacon Burrito Dog, and just for the Las Vegas location, the Vegas Strip Dog and Planet Hollywood Dog, which includes polish sausage, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, bacon, and cheese. Pink’s not only serves hot dogs but other delicious foods are available such as delectable burgers and sides like chili fries, onion rings, chili cheese nachos, and a bowl of chili. The interior of to the 1,900 sq. ft. property is set up as a hot dog stand for customers to walk up and select a made-to-order hot dog off the menu. Customers will have the option to add unique toppings like guacamole, pastrami, or bacon to their dogs or classics like grilled onion or chopped tomato.
