Plante & Moran Announces New Firm Partners
Southfield, Mich.
- Plante & Moran, PLLC, announces that three individuals from Southeast Michigan have been elected to the partnership. Scott Sneckenberger, CPA, and Jason Thomas, CPA, are now partners in the firm and based in the firm's Auburn Hills office. Paul Edwards, CPA, is now a partner in the firm and is based in the Macomb office. All three had been associates with Plante & Moran.
Scott Sneckenberger is an international business consultant, a member of Plante & Moran Global Services, and leads the firm's Mexican consulting practice. He has extensive experience assisting manufacturing companies in the automotive industry with wholly owned foreign enterprises, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, strategic market analyses, transfer pricing studies, and import/export concerns. Sneckenberger spends significant time helping clients make strategic and tax planning decisions in North and South America, Southeast Asia, and Western Europe.
Sneckenberger is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a board member of the International Visitors Counsel of Detroit and a member of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
Sneckenberger has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University. He resides in White Lake with his wife Janet and 2 children.
Jason Thomas focuses on providing audit, tax, and business consulting services to manufacturing and distribution companies with international operations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Michigan chapter of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest.
Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Kettering University. He resides in Waterford with his wife Melinda.
Paul Edwards has more than 12 years of experience providing assurance, tax, and business consulting services to domestic and foreign manufacturing enterprises. He has significant experience providing benefit plan assurance and consulting services. In addition, he provides assurance, A-133, and consulting services to Michigan community colleges.
Edwards is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University.
Edwards resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan with his wife Angela and two children.
