Players Indoor Sports Center in Naperville, already one of the funnest places for kids’ birthdays in Naperville, brings more excitement: The Superhero Sports Program for kids and Radio Disney Road Crew presenting the Doc McStuffins Take Care Clinic.
PressReleasePoint NAPERVILLE, IL -- Players Indoor Sports Center in Naperville is ready to shake off winter and get kids moving. The indoor sports facility is now offering a Superhero Sports Program for kids ages 3-6 and is hosting their annual Kids Spring Fling featuring the Radio Disney Road Crew presenting the Doc McStuffins Take Care Clinic, magicians, jugglers and a petting zoo at this free event on May 4.
The Superhero Sports Program lets kids mix make-believe, physical fitness, leadership and sportsmanship skills in a fun and motivating way. There are three sub-categories to the program: Superhero Soccer, Super Sluggers Baseball and Super Hoopers Basketball. Soccer players get to wear superhero capes while playing. Sluggers get special hats and Hoopers wear special basketball jerseys. Parents can register their kids for each sport individually or register for the sampler class, which encompasses all three sports. Classes are offered on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, depending on the sport selected.
"Superhero Sports is a fun, great time for kids. We teach them, in an age appropriate way, that they can be a hero in their daily lives. For example, we may ask 'Did you hug your mom this week? That would make you a hero!' The program teaches preschoolers how to be leaders, followers, make plans, and build a team," explained Maxine Appenbrink, Owner of Players Indoor Sports Center (www.playersindoor.com).
Another fun springtime event that is coming up at Players Indoor is the Kids Spring Fling event on May 4th with the Radio Disney Road Crew presenting the Doc McStuffins Take Care Clinic, the free event promises music, games, prizes and plenty of fun with a focus on healthy living and well-being. Kids are encouraged to bring their toys to Doc's Mobile Clinic for a check-up.
"Health and wellness are core values at Players. We're in the business of keeping people active and healthy so an event like Radio Disney's Spring Fling featuring Doc McStuffins fits right in here," said Appenbrink.
