The Plaza Group Adds Vice President of Sales

HOUSTON - Nov. 2, 2009 - The Plaza Group, a leading international petrochemical marketing company, is expanding its global workforce with the addition of Jerry Dunn as Vice President of Sales.

In his new position, Dunn will lead the sales function at The Plaza Group. Dunn brings more than 20 years of chemical industry experience to his new post. Prior to joining The Plaza Group, he spearheaded Thatcher Company’s grassroots development of commerce in the Southeastern United States. Dunn also served as vice president of sales over the phenol and acetone business for JLM Industries.

Randy Velarde, The Plaza Group President, said Dunn, in addition to leading the sales team, will bring an increased level of expertise and energy to business development initiatives at The Plaza Group. “Jerry has an excellent reputation in the petrochemical industry, where he is renowned for his dedication and passion. Dunn received a Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from the University of Georgia, where he graduated magna cum laude. He currently resides with his wife, Robbie, and three sons in Tampa, Florida.
