PLUMAS BANK CHOOSES GOWEN TO LEAD IN REDDING
QUINCY, California, February 16, 2007 — Plumas Bank recently announced that it has hired Elizabeth Gowen as Vice President to lead the Bank’s expansion efforts into the Redding market. The Redding office is expected to open in the third quarter of 2007, pending regulatory approval, and will be the Company’s thirteenth full-service office. With assets of over $480 million, Plumas Bank is known throughout Northeastern California for its personalized service, community orientation and focus on lending to small and growing businesses. For 26 years, Plumas Bank has served the financial needs of local families and businesses in the counties of Shasta, Placer, Nevada, Plumas, Lassen, Modoc, and Sierra and more recently began offering commercial lending in Northern Nevada.

Gowen has had 28 years experience in banking and her most recent position was Vice President, Branch Manager for PremierWest Bank in Redding. She also has extensive experience in commercial lending, customer relationship management and bank operations. Gowen commented, "I am very excited to join Plumas Bank because it has a strong, community-oriented reputation." She added, "I’m very familiar with the financial needs and concerns of my friends and neighbors as I have lived in this community for 36 years. Gowen is a board member and past president of Soroptimist International of Redding and serves on the Financial Industry Advisory Board at Lake College. She enjoys golf, gardening and teaching aerobics.
