Sheriff Bob Skipper had a very rude awakening when he found out that he failed the police exam.

Skipper is a retired Sheriff that decided he wanted to get back into law enforcement and provide leadership to the Multnomah County police force. The 25 year veteran ended up getting 66% on the police exam, where a 75% is a pass. The most surprising thing about this outcome is the fact that new recruits with absolutely no experience are required to take the same exam.

The retired Sheriff received special treatment where he was allowed to opt out of a 4 week training schedule that routinely is taken by all people planning on taking the police exam.

Skipper has released the following statement on his police exam results: “There are some areas I need to brush up on as my classroom and testing skills are a bit rusty. I will be retaking written tests in order to complete the Police Career Officer Development Course.”
