His Excellency Pjotr Klodkowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in India and Robert Seges, Head of Services Team, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency also spoke at the Business Forum to encourage Indian investment in the largest East European nation and announced that the Polish IT industry sees Karnataka as a major hub for investment. Mr. Klodkowski said the state already has a large Polish community including the Indian headquarters of one of Poland’s largest companies Bella and that Indian IT Bellwethers such as TCS, Infosys and Wipro have set up their European headquarters in Poland and are expanding it further, re-iterating cross investment opportunities and benefits. Robert Seges, Head of Services Team of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency said that Eastern Poland could be the gateway for Indian companies looking to enter the European Union and gain access to the internal market there. With more than 8million young people in Eastern Poland and access to over 3,30,000 students from 51 universities every year, Poland is well positioned as a talent hub for the Indian IT industry.
