Polycom Appoints Dan Sibille as Vice President of North America Channels

Sibille's industry experience, channel expertise to drive increased adoption of Polycom^®RealPresence^™Platform and HD Video and Voice^™solutions

PLEASANTON, Calif. - Nov 14, 2011 :

Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM), the global leader in standards-based unified communications (UC), today announced the appointment of Dan Sibille to vice president of North America Channels. Reporting to David Ruggiero, theater president of North America, and aligning with Ron Myers, senior vice president Worldwide Channels, Sibille will be responsible for the management of Polycom's North American channel sales, including all aspects of partner development specifically with resellers, solution providers, distribution, call control vendors, regional system integrators, and other channel partners.

Sibille has more than 27 years of experience in solution selling in key sales and sales management positions, and his channel experience includes working with a broad set of partners from alliance to distributors to systems integrators, and more. Sibille joins Polycom from LifeSize Communications, a division of Logitech, where he led their Americas channel strategy and developed and launched the company's global channel program. Prior to LifeSize, Sibille held channel and sales leadership roles at companies including Extreme Networks, Internet Security Systems, and 3Com Corporation, among others.
