Skinny Pig Weight Loss is a labor of love for the owner and designer, Bonnie Martin. Writing under the pseudonym of "Skinny Pig", she's sharing everything she knows about losing weight.

"I have been involved with health, fitness, and weight loss for about seven years. I started my weight loss journey at the end of 2001 and have been studying it ever since then.

With this new weight loss website I'm attempting to build a comprehensive source of weight loss information based on everything that I've learned. I also tell much of my personal story with weight loss along the way.

My weight loss road has been a rocky one with many plateaus, re-gains, and emotional work that had to be done. That was difficult but it has provided me with a ton of knowledge about the process and I'm sharing that on this site.

Overall, I have lost about 60 pounds. I kept around half of it off for a few years before some stressful circumstances caused me to gain back another 30 over a year and a half. I have lost that weight again and hopefully have established a pattern that will work for me long-term."

The site was recently launched but already provides a wealth of information covering a wide variety of topics related to weight loss. Subjects covered include a weight loss how-to guide, success stories, inspiration, eating disorders, emotional eating, body acceptance, weight loss tools, healthy recipes, fitness, and diet tips. Most sections of the website are interactive and users can submit their own stories, links, and information.

"Skinny Pig Weight Loss" also includes a store featuring many different products that can help a person learn how to lose weight or get fit. "You never know what's going to work for you until you try it," says Bonnie (or, Skinny Pig.)
