October 14, 2009 (Washington, D.C.) – Prevent Human Trafficking (PHT) is pleased to announce that under the continued leadership of Khun Ja, the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) in Pattaya, Thailand will open the doors to its new facility.

Christina Arnold, Founder and Executive Director of PHT celebrates the connections made between its partner since 2002, CPDC and Hong Kong’s ADM Capital Foundation (ADMCF), “Through global partnerships and video blogging we are pleased to see the results of the last two years become a reality in supporting Khun Ja’s inspiring work. He has saved the lives of hundreds of street children in Pattaya over the last 15 years.”

“Video blogging is a powerful tool to generate positive social change as well as financial support for those who are working hard to change the world. We are thankful we had the opportunity to document the work of Prevent Human Trafficking in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in 2007 and see firsthand the good work of Khun Ja” said vloggers Jay Dedman and Ryanne Hodson. Through their video blogs, countless people around the globe were able to witness the good work Khun Ja does daily. Six months after the video blog was posted on PHT’s website, in early 2008, PHT was contacted by Mr. Francesco Caruso of ADMCF to learn more about Khun Ja’s work and to get in direct contact.

Today, Khun Ja opens the doors of his new center thanks the generous support of ADMCF. Under the direction of Khun Toy of The Human Help Network (HHN) additional funds have been raised from Embassies and individuals who recognize the incredible lifesaving work that Khun Ja does for the most vulnerable children.

Human trafficking affects millions of people around the world. Prevent Human Trafficking educates the public on the importance of prevention measures, victim protection and prosecution for those involved in human trafficking.
