Shanghai, China, December 6, 2011 - (PressReleasePoint) - Acquiring the skills to be successful in the fast-changing and demanding world of project forwarding is the focus of the Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management course running in conjunction with Breakbulk China 2012 at the Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel.
The ISO accredited training will be held from 27-28 February and is designed to provide attendees with the skills and knowledge to better manage difficult transport logistics.
The course was acknowledged with a High Distinction at the 2011 Lloyd's List DCN Australian Shipping & Maritime Industry Awards in the Project Cargo Category.
Trainer Kevin Stephens has had extensive industry experience including managing international project cargo networks.
Mr Stephens said the training had been designed to enhance the required skills, and the ability to think quickly and act decisively.
“Project forwarding is experiencing increasingly larger and bulkier cargos from manufacturer to site with tight timeframes and high cargo values that means those involved must have the capabilities to avoid problems that can have a substantial downstream impact,” Mr Stephens said.
“Successful project forwarding is a teamwork business, dependent on calm, experienced planning and excellent communication, which are all supported by the training offered in this course.”
“Attendees will be provided with the tools, templates, advice, and best practices to improve their performance.”
Investment in the two-day training is $US1,000 for individual students; $US800 for 2 – 3 students from the same company and US $US600 for 4 and over.
Early-Bird registrations will receive a free one-day pass for the Breakbulk China Conference & Exhibition valued at $US365.00
