Engineering students at Sapienza University will have the opportunity to meet with RAI (Italian Public Radio and Television Broadcast Network) President Anna Maria Tarantola, who will hold a presentation on the “Public Broadcast Service in the Era of Technology and Multimedia.”
The presentation, which will be followed by an informal cocktail, has been organized by Project FIGI, which aims to provide Masters Programme students at the Faculties of Engineering with a better grasp of the working world, help them understand what skills enterprises are looking for and provide them with useful pointers for successful employment.
The presentation and cocktail with RAI President Ms. Tarantola will be held on April 3, 2014 at 5:30 pm at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering (Via Eudossiana 18, Rome). The meeting will be held in Lecture Hall 1; subsequently, an informal cocktail session will be held under the Faculty’s porticos to allow students to meet and speak directly with Ms. Tarantola.
The lecture and informal cocktail event is one of many events organized by Project FIGI, an initiative aiming to bring Engineering students into contact with national and international enterprises.
The project addresses a range of different areas. However, the fundamental objective of the initiative is to accompany students throughout their university career and prepare them for the working world.
