Providence Health System Selects Concuity ClearContracts™
HAYWARD, Calif., June 18, 2002- Concuity, a trusted provider of contract revenue cycle management solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that Providence Health System, Washington Region will use Concuity ClearContracts to improve the revenue collected from its managed care contracts. Concuity ClearContracts allows Providence to electronically identify underpayments and denials, automate the appeal process with payers, and improve contracts and internal processes based on payment performance. “Concuity offered us an enterprise solution that addresses each step of the revenue cycle, from contracts to collection,” said Mike Butler, chief financial officer, Providence Health System, Washington Region. “This solution is particularly attractive to us because it allows centralized management of contractual revenue across multiple locations and contract structures.” “We are extremely excited to be working with Providence Health System,” said Robert Watson, president and CEO of Concuity. “Hospital systems, in particular, are able to quickly realize the unique benefits of Concuity’s enterprise approach to managing the contract revenue cycle - from contracting to operations to billing and collections. With this holistic approach, multi-site provider organizations are able to negotiate better contracts, comply with contractual requirements reducing the number of payment denials and underpayments, and collect what is contractually owed - all resulting in more contractual revenue.”
