The festivities are underway as the RACV Noosa Resort celebrates its first full year of operation. The Noosa Resort has been extremely popular with motoring club members.

Noble Park North, Victoria, Australia., January 18, 2012 - (PressReleasePoint) - The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) purchased the former Noosa Sanctuary Resort in November 2010, to provide members with an affordable holiday experience on Queensland’s popular Sunshine Coast.

RACV Noosa Resort Manager, Darren McClenaghan, said the resort has been warmly embraced, with members and guests travelling from across Australia.

“Our members have flocked to Noosa in great numbers, drawn by a fantastic location, quality amenities, excellent service and the great value holidays that RACV offers,” Mr McClenaghan said.

The RACV Noosa Resort has been extremely popular with motoring club members, especially those from RACV, RACQ and NRMA.

RACV has invested heavily in improvements on the noosa resort accommodation including furnishing 85 vacant apartments. Capacity has increased from 70 apartments to 155, and the restaurant’s capacity has also been increased. We plan to continue to improve the resort facilities to further enhance the member and guest experience.

In addition to offering great holiday experiences, RACV Noosa Resort has become an active participant in the local community, supporting local events including the Noosa Food and Wine Festival and the Noosa Triathlon Multi-Sports Festival and local community groups through our Good Citizen Program.

The resort is located on 15 hectares beside the Weyba Creek, offering spectacular views of pristine wetlands. It is also centrally located for easy access to Main Beach and Noosa's popular Hastings Street, Noosa Junction and Noosaville.

Noosa Resort is one of RACV’s six holiday resorts which include RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, RACV’s Cape Schanck, Cobram and Inverloch resorts in Victoria, and the RACV Torquay Resort, which is currently under construction.
