Riverside Leisure Park, based on South Road in Wooler, will be hosting its Annual Charity Open Day on Saturday 23 August, between 12 noon and 4.00pm.

With all proceeds being donated to Metro Radio’s Cash for Kids and Northumberland Wildlife Trust, and a host of activities from live music, a tasty barbecue, family fun and games with Vinnie the Park’s larger than life mascot not to mention a bouncy castle for kids of all ages (!), this really is an event not to be missed.

Riverside Leisure Park, part of the Verdant Leisure group of companies, is no stranger to supporting Northumberland Wildlife Trust; as well as being corporate members of the Trust, during the 2013 season, its holiday hire customers made a voluntary donation of £1.00 per booking to the Trust which resulted in an impressive cheque for £331.00 being handed over to support vital conservation work in the area.

Mike Pratt, Northumberland Wildlife Trust Chief Executive said: “I am delighted with the support we receive from the team at Riverside Leisure Park and that the money raised at the Charity Open Day will help our conservation work in what is a truly wonderful part of the country … let’s all keep our fingers crossed the sun shines.”
