RAMS teams up with Residex to attract first time property investors
RAMS Home Loans has teamed up with Residex to provide property investors with free state of the market reports to help them select suitable properties.
AUSTRALIA, 15 March 2010: Capitalising on the increased appetite for investing in property, RAMS Home Loans has teamed up with Residex to provide property investors with an innovative solution to help them buy their first investment property.
RAMS is now able to provide customers with a unique service that can help take the leg work out of buying an investment property.
RAMS Head of Franchise, Clive Kirkpatrick said that the relationship with Residex would enable participating RAMS Franchisees to help guide prospective property investors through the main steps of an investment property purchase process.
“Armed with Residex reports, RAMS Franchisees can provide customers with useful information about how to get started, how to select an appropriate property and the main costs involved with owning an investment property. They can also help customers to work out how much they might be able to borrow and help them to identify which suburbs best fit their budget and personal selection criteria,” said Mr Kirkpatrick.
“Once a customer has identified a suburb [or suburbs] that they want to focus on, we can provide them with a free Residex ‘State of the Market’ report on their chosen suburb or postcode area.”
Residex ‘State of the Market’ reports include information such as the median sale price, median rent, rental yield, number of sales, historical growth and Residex’s predicted growth for that suburb over the next 5 and 8 years. We can also provide customers with a representative list of current properties for sale in their chosen suburb and within their price range.
Mr Kirkpatrick continued, “Once a customer has identified a property we can provide them with a free Residex Comparative Market Analysis report which provides sales history, street rating information and recent comparable sales. In conjunction with their own analysis, the Comparative Market Analysis report can help customers decide how much they are willing to pay for the property.”
