Rapid Response Medical Agency Moves To Wyboston Lakes
A new company set up to assist the NHS cope with the increasing demands on its services has just moved to Wyboston Lakes’ Knowledge Centre.
Wyboston , Bedfordshire. UK. March 4, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - A new company set up to assist the NHS cope with the increasing demands on its services has just moved to Wyboston Lakes’ Knowledge Centre. Originally based in Bedford to supply qualified doctors to hospitals throughout the UK, RM Medics needed larger premises with excellent communications channels to deal with the dramatic growth it has experienced since its formation just six months ago.
Unlike a lot of medical recruitment agencies, RM Medics operates a genuine 24 hour service so is able to provide doctors at very
short notice, especially when they’re needed outside normal working hours. Founding director Roberto Facchiano said “Many agencies only operate 9 to 5, so providing a rapid response service round the clock is a niche market we have identified and can service effectively. Only last week we had an urgent call at 8.30 in the evening from an NHS hospital in the West Midlands who needed two doctors urgently. We were able to respond immediately and had both doctors on site within hours of their call so that patients could be treated quickly and effectively.”
The move to Wyboston Lakes Knowledge Centre not only ensures RM Medics have the high speed broadband and effective direct communication channels they need to provide an efficient service, but it also provides flexibility so they can expand the office accommodation in line with the future growth of the company. It also means they will be on site to support the new Medical Centre planned at Wyboston Lakes.
During the next 12 months, RM Medics expect to recruit more young people from the St Neots area and train them to help cope with the growing demand for their specialised service. Roberto added, “We have already taken on one young person from the local area who is proving a great success. We are getting busier each week and are planning to recruit up to 10 more young people over the next twelve months.”
