RBC Donates $20,000 to The Canadian Red Cross for The Community of Goderich
GODERICH, August 23, 2011 RBC Foundation today announced a $20,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross Ontario Disaster Relief Fund to support emergency relief efforts for the community of Goderich recently affected by the tornado.
"We are deeply saddened by the devastation in Goderich and our thoughts are with the residents, their friends and family, and our employees," said Tom Parisi, regional vice-president, Huron Perth Oxford, RBC Royal Bank. "As part of the Goderich community, we are committed to helping residents recover and rebuild from this tragedy and hope this donation will help with the immediate emergency relief efforts."
The RBC Royal Bank branch in Goderich is currently closed. Clients may access their accounts using online and telephone banking, ABMs or the closest RBC branch in Clinton, Kincardine, Ripley, Forest and Exeter. Clients who have to use a competitor's ATM machine will be reimbursed for the Interac fee by calling 1-800-ROYAL-11 or visiting any RBC Royal Bank Branch.
