TimeShareWare joins growing list of RCI Connect platform partners

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (July 28, 2014) – RCI, part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE:WYN), recently announced that it has partnered with SS&C’s TimeShareWare (NASDAQ: SSNC), one of the industry’s leading property management system (PMS) companies, to offer the convenience and cost savings benefits of its RCI ConnectSM platform to even more RCI® affiliated resorts. The automated transaction reporting platform now also offers improved enrollment processing and maintenance fee pass through capabilities.

 

“One of our core efforts at RCI is to help our affiliates lower the total operating cost of their resorts,” said Chris Parren, senior vice president, product development for RCI. “We developed the RCI Connect platform to eliminate redundant, time-wasting activities and to give our affiliates faster access to RCI transaction data. The new partnership with TimeShareWare will allow us to offer this benefit to an even greater pool of timeshare resorts.”

 

The RCI Connect platform, the powerful web-based tool from the global leader in vacation exchange, enables affiliates to smoothly and conveniently establish web APIs, a type of automated interface, between their property management systems and the RCI web server. TimeShareWare is the latest of several leading PMS companies that RCI has worked with to help ensure resorts utilizing these providers can capitalize on the operational efficiency provided by the RCI Connect platform.

The RCI Connect platform allows RCI affiliated resorts to save time, reduce errors and streamline their data importing processes by eliminating the need to manually enter RCI-related transaction information. Resorts can directly accept certain day-to-day RCI business transactions such as inbound guest lists, requests and verification of deposits for RCI Weeks® subscribing members, and verification and updates to ownership data.

 

The RCI Connect platform also makes it simpler for resorts to share their data with the RCI web server in order to improve response time for their owners who wish to transact with RCI. And by simplifying and expediting information reporting, owners’ accounts are immediately updated with the latest payment and booking transactions, helping to create a seamless ownership experience.
