RCI Scoops Two From Impressive Seven Nominations at Industry Awards

Last Friday night RCI Pacific scooped up two awards from a staggering seven nominations at the 20th annual Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) industry awards.

Judged at a national level, the ATHOC awards program includes 16 awards that recognise the excellent talent in Australia’s timeshare and holiday ownership industry.

The RCI Member Services Team performed exceptionally well winning two years running in their category. The team was elated to be recognised, especially in the wake of numerous natural disasters in the region and navigating through a weaker global economy made the win memorable.

Commenting on the wins, Charisse Cox managing director of RCI Pacific said “RCI is relatively a small player focusing on exchange in comparison to the other large players in the industry who successfully manage resorts and have extensive sales teams. It’s great to see RCI staff get recognition, picking up two awards is a testament to how hard they work, I’m very proud of our Team”.

Distinguished Gold Coast state members, councillors, Daniel Gschwind CEO of Queensland Tourism and Industry and RCI president, Gordon Gurnik were in attendance to witness Charisse Cox receive an accolade acknowledging her 25 year contribution to the success and continued growth of the Timeshare industry in Australia.

• Corporate Manager of the Year
Winner; Kathryn O’Halloran-Anderson
This award recognises a Manager of one or more departments, such as finance, accounting, HR etc. Kathryn performed outstandingly is her ability to manage her revenue management role at the same time taking on and displaying intricate knowledge of global and local business from a strategic and operational perspective thus enabling her and her team to contribute innovative solutions to projects being undertaken.

• Marketing & Call Centre Team of the Year
Winner; Member Services Team
For a team involved in successful marketing programs and techniques used to attract prospects and avenues to produce sales or member satisfaction marketing. This category will include corporate marketing, telemarketing, filed marketing, member marketing etc.
