RED ONE Florida Shoots Tim Tebow Super Bowl Commercial
Contoversial Super Bowl commercial featuring Tim Tebow is lensed by Tampa based RED ONE Florida and crew.
Tampa, FL February 5, 2010 - Though Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are the quarterbacks getting all the attention on the field this Sunday, Florida Gator Tim Tebow will make his first Super Bowl appearance in a commercial shot with the RED ONE Digital Cinema Camera from RED ONE Florida of Tampa.
Producer Adrian Chenoweth and Director Stephen Vidano of Vidano Films, Colorado Springs hired RED ONE Florida to provide camera services for the high profile project for Focus on The Family. The two day shoot took place at Full Sail Studios in Orlando. It features Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and his mother Pam. The spot has received a lot of attention in the press because it is the first advocacy commercial to ever air in the Super Bowl.
With a crew of 25, Director of Photography was Brian Baugh. RED ONE Florida's Rich Roddman was 1st AC, and Mike Weber was DIT. After the shoot Rich also provided post-production consultation on the RED ONE workflow from editing through color-correction.
The multi-million dollar media buy places the spot to air nationally a total of five times during the Super Bowl coverage. Look for it the spot on CBS four times in the pre-game show and in the first commercial break after kickoff.
RED ONE Florida is a division of CMR Studios, an integrated media production company based in Tampa Bay, Florida since 1986.
