Mumbai - August 18, 2009:As part of its overall plan to drive VAS leadership through innovation, Reliance Mobile is launching a unique Antakshari service on its R-World platform. This service will allow a subscriber to play Antakshari with a selected community or his friend on the move. Reliance is creating a special viral marketing portal where a subscriber will be able to throw a challenge to the other and a recipient will be able to respond.

The service will offer the subscriber three lifelines to continue the game. These lifelines are Library, 50/50 and Ask A Friend.

Commenting on the new service Mr Krishna Durbha, Head ? VAS, Reliance Communications said, "Antakshari is one of the oldest music based games that Indians have known and played for generations. We have conceptualized the same for our subscribers who can now play the Antakshari with any other Reliance subscriber in the country."

Reliance will offer this unique service for a subscription charge of Rs 30 / 30 days with 30 minutes free usage. Subscribers will be allowed to add players to his list and send them songs of choice in their own voice to play antakshari. Users will also be allowed to block other users at any given point in time as well as decide whom they want to play with at a given point of time.

Reliance Mobile is launching this service on both its GSM and CDMA networks.
