Responsys Expands Leadership Team with Key Hires
New Senior Executives in Analytics and Travel Strengthen Cross-Channel Market Leadership
San Bruno, Calif. - February 7, 2013 - Responsys, Inc. (Nasdaq:MKTG), a leading provider of email and cross-channel marketing solutions, today announced the appointments of Rich Fleck, Vice President of Strategic Services, and Ted Wham, Vice President of Travel Industry Solutions. These additions to our Professional Services leadership team underscore Responsys' commitment to providing its customers with the right strategies to make consumer-centric marketing decisions, and the deep industry expertise needed to outperform the competition in crowded and complex markets, such as the travel industry.

Rich Fleck has been working in online analytics and strategy for the past 15 years. Prior to joining Responsys, Fleck was Vice President of Digital Strategy at Merkle, Vice President of Strategic Services at Epsilon Interactive, and a leader in the strategic services group at DoubleClick. Earlier in his career, Fleck co-founded a boutique analytics consulting firm, served as a consultant for Accenture, and managed the online analytics functions for two internet start-ups.

With more than 20 years in the digital marketing industry, Ted Wham comes to Responsys from Orbitz.com where he was Vice President of Customer Relationship Marketing, leading a team responsible for email marketing, online personalization, and loyalty program development and execution. Previously, he oversaw email marketing at Expedia and Hotwire and was General Manager for the European operations of Epsilon Interactive. In 2004, Wham was awarded a "Database Marketing Excellence" award by the National Center for Database Marketing (NCDM) and in the same year, Jupiter Research (now part of Forrester Research) described his email marketing efforts for Hotwire as, "Not only ahead of the competition, but among the best practices across all online marketing."
