Retail Point-of-Sale ISV CAP Software Partners with Sage to Offer Its Customers a Secure, PCI-Compliant, Integrated Payments Env

MCLEAN, Va. (February 13, 2013) - Sage North America today announced Fort Worth, Texas-based CAP Software has joined the Sage ISV Partner Program. CAP is an independent software vendor (ISV) and developer supplying approximately 3,000 small and midsized specialty retailers with point-of-sale (POS) software and related hardware.

Through the Sage ISV Partner Program, CAP integrates its retail POS software with Sage Exchange, the secure, Payment Card Industry (PCI)-compliant, integrated payments platform from Sage Payment Solutions, the payments division for Sage. The Sage Exchange integration allows CAP customers to securely process credit and debit card transactions in a PCI-compliant manner, while allowing them to link to their Sage accounting and ERP systems.

Sage ISV partners receive a software development kit (SDK), including documentation and a complete testing environment. Additionally, the Sage Payment Solutions professional services team provides integration support throughout the process. After development is complete, Sage tests and certifies the integration.
